Squidster is my lensmaster ID at Squidoo. My alter ego is called Carina Corcino.
Born in Finland in the sixties, I grew up in Germany and the Philippines. Currently living in California, married with children. I am not a social butterfly and consider myself shy, if not aloof to some extend. I am fiercely loyal to my oldest friends. Trying to make a living on the Internet, I find it exhausting to socialize all out 2.0 style.
Before kids, my greatest passion was to travel. I used to ride horses and SCUBA dive, and loved driving fast cars and luxury convertibles. Nowadays, I am “just” a Mom and house wife with a van, constantly strapped for cash. This throws me into fits of depression every now and then. Don’t get me wrong, I believe my kids are the greatest thing to happen to me.
In Squidoo I have found some type of ” second home”. Although still not having a firm sense of belonging to the community of other lensmasters, I am putting a serious effort into it. Most of my other projects have taken a back burner since I started squidoodling. Being on my dashboard or the workshop just gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling, and even though the staff is probably hardly aware of me they feel like good friends to me.
